Ashley Gersh, LMHC
Owner & Founder. Licensed Mental Health Counselor and ACT Therapist
Hi! I’m Ashley Gersh, LMHC (she/her) and I am the founder and owner of Action Ashley, LLC Counseling & Services where we offer individual and group counseling services as well as collaborative divorce services.
As a grief specialist, I help clients navigate the stages of grief triggered by death and ambiguous loss such as breakups, job loss, chronic illness, relationships, divorce, miscarriages, estrangement from family, change in location, COVID-19, and more.
I also assist clients as the Mental Health Professional Neutral on Collaborative Divorce cases. It’s important to have a professional who is trained both clinically and collaboratively to assist during a time of high conflict and emotional stress.
In my approach to counseling, I provide action oriented therapy to help you get your energy and motivation back, find hope, build confidence, and reconnect with life.
I use an integrative approach with a strong emphasis on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Practices to help with your individual needs.
I offer a supportive, non-judgmental, compassionate environment to help you find clarity and confidence as you move forward from grief.
Fun Facts: My favorite quote is, “There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find ways in which you yourself have altered," by Nelson Mandela.
